How to Download and Play Silent Hill: Townfall on Epic Games Store

Availability note — September 22, 2026: KONAMI lists the standard release for September 24, 2026. If your Epic edition is not unlocked yet, keep it installed and launch it after the store’s displayed release time.

What you need

• A compatible Windows PC.
• An Epic Games account.
• Epic Games Launcher installed.
• Enough free disk space for the game and updates.
• A stable internet connection.

Step 1: Install Epic Games Launcher

If you do not already have the launcher:

1. Open the Epic Games website.
2. Select Download or Install Epic Games Launcher.
3. Run the installer.
4. Finish installation.
5. Open Epic Games Launcher.
6. Sign in to your Epic Games account.

Step 2: Find Silent Hill: Townfall

Inside Epic Games Launcher:

1. Select Store.
2. Use the search field.
3. Search for Silent Hill: Townfall.
4. Open the official product page.

You can also start from KONAMI’s official order page and choose the Epic Games option:

Step 3: Purchase the game

Choose your edition and complete checkout.

After purchase, Silent Hill: Townfall should be added to your Epic Games Library.

Step 4: Open Library

In Epic Games Launcher, select:

Library

Find Silent Hill: Townfall.

If it is not immediately visible, use the Library filters or search tools.

Step 5: Install Silent Hill: Townfall

Epic’s official install flow is:

1. Open Library.
2. Select the game.
3. Choose the installation directory.
4. Select Install.
5. Wait for the download to finish.

Choose a drive with enough space before confirming.

Step 6: Monitor the download

Use the Epic Games Launcher download manager to check progress.

Keep the launcher open or allow it to continue downloading until installation and any required update are complete.

Step 7: Launch the game

After installation:

1. Return to Library.
2. Select Silent Hill: Townfall.
3. Choose Launch.

If the game is installed but cannot be launched yet, check the release/unlock information shown by Epic Games Store for your edition and region.

If installation does not start

Try these checks:

1. Restart Epic Games Launcher.
2. Confirm you are signed in to the account that owns the game.
3. Check that the selected drive has enough free space.
4. Change the install directory if the current drive is unavailable.
5. Check Epic Games service status if Library or download services are failing.

If the game is not in your Library

1. Confirm the purchase appears in your Epic account transactions.
2. Make sure you are signed in with the same login method/account used for the purchase.
3. Refresh or restart Epic Games Launcher.
4. Contact Epic Games Store Support if the purchase is present but the entitlement is missing.
